I just got my crossbreed supertuck in the mail today. It looks great and you can tell its a quality holster. I know that there is a breakin period before it becomes comfortable, but I'm trying to get the best fit possible. I have tried a couple different cants, and I've tried moving it around on my belt. When I get it comfortable it prints something awful, so I'm not too sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm definately not a small person, I'm 5'8" 245 pounds, but I'm not carrying a large gun either. I am carrying a springfield xdsc 9mm. I was wondering what experiences you guys have had, and if you have one of these holsters how do you wear it?

What have you been carrying before you got this? I had the same problem when I got my desantis. There is no way to carry it w/o a loose shirt over it and that just isn't my style. I will not wear a hawaiian shirt just to hide my gun. But what's the point of a IWB holster? All I need is a thin piece of leather and a super thin piece of kydex to guard the trigger. I may end up making my own.

I finally realized what I was doing wrong. For some reason I wasn't paying attention and I finally figured out that the farther down I moved the clips the higher I was raising the holster. Onced I figured that out I moved the clips all the way to the top bottoming out the holster and it became very comfortable. I had been using a cheap 10 dollar uncle mikes iwb "soft" holster. It was a fairly slow draw, and was completely impossible to reholster once the weapon was drawn using that setup. I am very impressed at how easy and fast you can draw and reholster the weapon without even having to look at what your doing. Here are the pics topher asked me to post.

I might get that to carry my Glock 26. The Uncle Mike's holster I have sits way too high up on my body for my tastes and I'm not sure it's secure, so I've been using it as a pocket holster. This looks like something I could rely on, though.
Thank you for posting about it and including pictures. |

I carry in an MTAC holster which is same quality and setup as teh supertuck and i love it. BUt my clothing makes it easy to do as i hardly ever tuck my shirt in as i am ashamed of my beer belly. It makes the gun disappear under my untucked Golf Polos and is comfortable to wear under cargo shorts all summer long. I will say that when i did tuck in over it once, it didnt print but it was a real pain in the ass to tuck.

Where did you get that and what did it cost? That could get me back into carrying the HK more in the warmer months

I ordered it from www.crossbreedholsters.com it was basically 70 for the holster, and then I also got an optional set of J hooks which will make it easier to conceal if I do need to tuck my shirt. The J hooks clip onto your pants and the hook rests underneath the bottom of your belt to make sure when you draw you dont accidentally pull the holster too. The optional J hooks were 5 extra and then theres 11.95 for shipping. I kept mine fairly basic, but you can get more options such as horsehide instead of cowhide which is 15 extra and combat cut which is 7.50. If your an NRA member you can type NRA in the promotions box and get 10% off your entire purchase. I think in all it was basically 80 bucks for the holster and the J hooks with shipping and the 10% discount. They hand make them and it took me approx. 2 1/2 weeks to get mine. Other guys have told me they got theirs within a week to a week and a half, but I think with the way things have gotten lately the demand for a good comfortable conceal carry holster has gone way up and on their site they advise 3 weeks, so your always suprised when it comes early lol. The one thing I did do, and I always do when ordering anything online is I went to wallyworld and got one of those visa preloadable cards for three bucks and put the money on that so none of my bank account info goes out over the net. I'm sure their site is secure and everything, but just for my own peice of mind I always get the preloadable card.

I use the Supertuck to carry my G21, G30, or G27 (they all fit the same holster well enough) and I think it's the best IWB CC holster I have ever tried. The leather backing keeps the pistol from rubbing and causing irritation on the skin and I can carry all day, every day with no problem at all. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to carry on a regular basis.
The CTAC & MTAC holsters are in this same catagory and work really well, too. I like the adjustability of the Supertuck better because I can fit it to my type of clothing and body shape (hey, round is a shape, right?) better.

I purchased mine for Glock26 at Hi Tek in Indiana. There's a thread about them.
He had it in stock. Can wear it for two weeks, and is returnable if you don't like it. |

Those pictures are fine. Thank you so much. That thing is thinner than I thought. I guess I will be ordering one of those next. I am thinking about getting the combat cut though. There is much less leather as I am worried about the heat in the summer time.
