Default better pay those taxes guys/gals....

just ran across this, as I was checking out my late night sites. was linked to it, so take it for what it is, a blog. If correct, kind of WRONG!

basically, owe $50K in taxes, no fly, no guns, no soup for you.

Not quite sure where in the 2A the founding fathers placed this clause....

oh yeah, they didn't.

Crazy times.

I have little doubt that such a bill has been introduced. Though I missed any bill number reference in the stories.

With 80 million gun owners in this country, and millions upon millions who have a believe and understanding of their following Rights: Travel, Due Process, Firearm ownership, etc, you would think that such a bill would not see light of day.

Well, here is where the People need to go on the offensive, but can't/won't because they are swamped with daily living, have a lack of proper American understanding and Wii.

Those who propose such laws, which are obviously anti-Constitutional, need to be impeached from their offices.

I long for the day when the 'head hunters' are the People, and the politicians are terrified of their voters (that would be the politicians who are secretly anti-American).

This day is coming, as the People are exercising their position of ownership on all levels of government, more and more. It is a matter of time when the bulk of the People get their fundamental freedoms secured on the state level, and they, through their states, demand that the federal government be restricted to those 18 enumerated items in the Constitution.

At that point, when a politician introduces a piece of legislation which is outside of those 18 Constitutional enumerated items, they will face one of several choices. 1) They will simply be informed of their attempted usurpation, and allowed to revoke their submission, under an umbrella of shame and disgust from the People and fellow reps. 2) Their bill will be censured and removed by the other reps, and the "people back home" will demand his recall and removal. 3) If they refuse to remove the bill, they will stand trial for violating their Oath of office, removed and penalized (jail/fines, castration).

Oddly, the last paragraph seems way too far away to imagine possible, but consider that a bill was introduced in the 2010 Congress to require all proposed bills to reference a Constitutional section which authorizes the bill. This proposed authorization was to be the first order of debate of any bill, with any member of congress being able to challenge the propriety of the sited clause of the Constitution. It specifically exempted the Preamble of the Constitution as a source of authority, and that is where the "promote general Welfare" clause lives, and is used by many to justify their usurpation of power. (BTW, the states are in the process of dismantling the "commerce clause", which is used by many to regulate everything from light bulbs to toilet water.)

So, again, not surprised by this sort of a bill. However, I see a change in the Hearts and Minds of the American people happening, and I see a dawning of a time when such bills me be introduced in the future, but not over and over again, by the same reps....as they will be removed, and others will learn their lesson. (Imagine the cooling effect of stripping a rep of their office, their government paid hookers, their pension, their health care, their prime parking spots, and their ability to work in positions/companies which lobby congress.. )
