Ruger MKII barrel threading

I have a Ruger Mk II with a 5.5 inch bull barrel. Just started my paper work for a suppressor and I was wondering if anyone knows someone around the Louisville area who has any experience in threading a Ruger factory barrel.

He can shade tree on my stuff any time.

He just recently did a stainless MK III barrel for my wife's target pistol and did a great job, even down to a matching thread protector that fits perfectly. With it on, the only way you can tell it's threaded is the setback on the front sight. She shot it for the first time this weekend w/the supprressor on it and it worked exactly as it should, no baffle or end cap strikes, no worries.

He's also very reasonable on the costs.

Thanks for the responses. I'll be giving guncrank a call. Just waiting for the sheriff to sign off on my paper work then I get to pay the ATF their $200. Very excited though this is my first class III purchase.

ATF cashed my check on August 7th and I am still waiting................

Yeah, unfortunately the wait for Form 4 approvals is running 5-6 months right now. My Sparrow took 6 months 2 days to complete. The .308 SS Phantom took 4 months. The two were ordered 30 days apart (Phantom first).

It's worth the wait, but can be maddening to sit and wait, and wait, and wait....

Checking up on NFAtracker looks like we could have another 30 days or so. My check was cashed on 8/2
